Meet Dr. Flath A Portland native, Dr. Flath grew up in SW Portland and attended Sunset High School in Beaverton. He went on to receive his bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. In 2002 Dr. Flath received his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University, and followed in his grandfather’s footsteps in practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in the southwest corner of downtown Portland.Dr. Flath has been a member of many dental associations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and both the Oregon Dental Association and Washington Dental Association. He is also involved in many local dental study clubs. Dr. Flath pursues continuing education in all modern aspects of dentistry, and is currently pursuing a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction very few dentists achieve.  Away from his practice, Dr. Flath enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 young children. As time allows, Dr. Flath enjoys fishing, backpacking, motorcycling, and other outdoor activities. |
